Extend your learning by spending the afternoon in a computer lab exploring a software or online tool in-depth! There will be no planned, formal instruction during the two hour Open Labs, but a facilitator will be on-hand to answer questions and provide guidance. It's a time to roll up your sleeves and put on your thinking cap--a time to use a tool to develop a simple, curriculum-based product which you can use with your students. The Open Labs will be organized by topics, so that teachers may pursue projects with others who are interested in the same technology topic. The SMARTBoard Collaborations will be organized by grade level or curriculum area.
To foster collaboration, we are inviting teachers who select an Open Lab or SMARTBoard Collaboration to submit their product which will be posted on this Web site.
